Job summary

Best Heating, Air & Plumbing in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Plumbing Install Technician to join our growing team. You will install and service residential plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and fixture installations, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of installation experience, can read blueprints, is familiar with local codes, and holds a journeyman or apprentice license as required.

• 2–4 years of residential plumbing installation experience.
• Proficient in layout, fixture installation, and pipefitting.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes, tools and practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Journeyman or apprentice license as required by state/local regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and test plumbing systems for residential projects.
• Layout, measure, cut, thread, and join pipe per specs and code.
• Install water heaters, water softeners, fixtures, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform rough-in and finish plumbing for residential projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specs for accurate installs.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for tools/materials.
• Complete installation reports and documentation on time.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional representation on site.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing and servicing residential plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and fixture installations. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Proficient in plumbing system layout, fixture installation, and pipefitting.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes, tools, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Journeyman or apprentice plumbing license (as required by state/local regulations).
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
