Job summary

Apollo Home in Cincinnati is seeking a customer-focused Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial plumbing systems. You will communicate clearly with customers and ensure safe, efficient operations on every job.

Require 3+ years of plumbing service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver’s license. Experience with tankless water heaters, drain cleaning, or water filtration is a plus.

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• License required by local jurisdiction (apprentice or journeyman).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience with tankless water heaters, drain cleaning, or water filtration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and fixture malfunctions.
• Install and replace faucets, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on water, sewer, and drain systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures and recommend repair or replacement options.
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Provide professional communication and clear explanations to customers about repair findings and solutions.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure timely service delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency plumbing service.

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering quality work, communicates clearly with customers and ensures safe and efficient plumbing operations on every job.
