Job summary

Home Comfort Experts, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems. You will work on water lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs and access tight spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing service or installation experience (residential or light commercial).
• Working knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, and repair techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water lines, drain lines, fixtures, faucets, valves, and water heaters.
• Perform installations and replacements of piping, fixtures, and appliances in compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and other plumbing issues.
• Install, service, and repair tankless and conventional water heaters.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Provide clear communication to customers regarding system issues, repair options, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service tickets, inventory, and job documentation.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure efficient scheduling and quality service delivery.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures on every job site.

Plumbing Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate is skilled, safety-focused and committed to delivering top-quality service and customer satisfaction on every job.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of plumbing service or installation experience (residential or light commercial).
• Working knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, and repair techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Plumbing apprentice or journeyman license preferred (as required by local jurisdiction).
• Backflow, tankless, or water treatment experience a plus.
