Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is seeking a Technician Electrician and Fitter to support plant maintenance for injectable/parenteral manufacturing. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation, and participation in equipment qualification within a GMP environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/ITI in mechanical or electrical trades with at least 5 years in similar settings, and are able to work across shifts in a fast-paced pharmaceutical

Qualifications

• Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical) or ITI (Fitter or Electrician) required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in same field.
• Experience with electrical/instrument maintenance in injectable equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of injectable equipment such as vial filling, powder filling, tunnel vial washing, freeze dryer, ALUS, spray dryer, autoclave, manufacturing skid and VHP.
• Perform preventive maintenance related to electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Attend breakdowns related to electrical and instrumentation.
• Perform general maintenance related to electrification.
• Participate in installation of new equipment.
• Support QA, QE and CSV teams during equipment qualification.
• Follow GDP and GMP guidelines.
• Work in rotational shifts.
