Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Technician 1 for Maintenance in Holly Springs, North Carolina. In this role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drug product systems and equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Job description

Technician 1 – Maintenance for Drug Product Finished Goods (DPFG)

Night Shift. Responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drug product related systems and equipment such as filling lines, automated inspection lines, formulation and isolation units. Ensures the systems meet pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements, conducts regular inspections and preventive maintenance for efficient equipment operation with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers.
• Assists senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follows SOPs and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and GMP quality standards.
• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices.
• Notifies management or EHS when unsafe conditions or hazards are found.
• Attends all required safety and health training.
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off‑hours as needed.
• Assists with spare parts assessments as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on‑call, and weekends.
