Job summary

• Maintain training documentation with instructor as new processes are learned.
• Support maintenance department to repair equipment and ensure asset reliability.
• Communicate process and controls issues with area engineers and assist with data acquisition.
• Assist senior technicians to develop hands-on knowledge of operating procedures and equipment.
• Support basic safety processes including training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of plant equipment in area of training.
• Compliance with all Evonik, state and federal regulations at all times.
• Develop understanding of plant procedures, processes, and equipment in area of training.
• Develop ability to identify issues with process equipment and process parameters in area of training.
• Maintain accurate training documentation with instructor as new processes and procedures are learned.
• Resolve issues with processes and equipment with support from more senior operation technicians.
• Support maintenance department as needed to repair equipment and ensure reliable operation of plant assets.
• Communicate process and controls issues with area engineers and assist with data acquisition.
• Assist technicians that are more senior and develop hands‑on knowledge of operating procedures and equipment.
• Support basic safety process including maintaining compliance with any required training.
