Job Details

Title: Technician – Maintenance I

Reporting To: Manager - Maintenance

Location: All Hillandale

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule: 5 Days including Weekends/Holidays

Shift: Start at 6am

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations and maintain preventative maintenance schedules on processing equipment such as washers, graders, packers, and conveyor belts.
• Provide basic maintenance support across processing plants and support Level II technicians with complex repairs.
• Perform routine troubleshooting, identify issues, and report or assist with repairs as needed.
• Understand and carry out routine maintenance on machinery, with exposure to electrical, plumbing, electronics, and basic robotics.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist processing teams to meet business needs.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience or exposure in a processing plant or related environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, electronics, and robotics.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with repetitive lifting, squatting, twisting, turning, kneeling, and bending.
