Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Technician Maintenance to join the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team. You will perform preventive and curative maintenance, repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and implement improvements to keep production running efficiently.

The role requires interpreting diagrams, working from technical plans, and adhering to safety standards under the Get to Zero initiative. Forklift certification and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of materials and techniques with execution of operational activities.
• Knowledge of general technical regulations and safety rules.
• Certificate to drive the forklift.
• Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Correctly interpret processes, drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, procedures, etc.
• Signal malfunctions and improvements and register findings in Mendix.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic malfunctions.
• Repair and expand installations as per plans to keep production running.

As a part of the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team the Technician Maintenance role will empower you to take preventive and curative actions as well as maintain, repair and expand the installations and make improvements to the installations in order to keep production running and optimize the operation of the installations. Repair mechanical breakdowns, construct and adapt the installations based on the plans of the technical draughtsman, managers or external parties.
