Job summary

Baptist Memorial Hospital - Calhoun is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform functions such as operating the washer, dryer, ironer, and folding areas. Duties include sorting soiled linen and loading 400 and 150 lb washers, removing linen to dryer, and sending to folding area.

Under the supervision of the Laundry Supervisor, you may be asked to load clean linen on linen exchange carts and complete assigned goals. This role supports hospital operations by ensuring clean linens are available.

• Removes linen from dryers, then runs through ironer or sends to folding area.
• Operates towel folding machine.
