Vortex Services, LLC, a Vortex Company, is seeking a general laborer to support sewer maintenance, inspection, and rehabilitation tasks. You will follow supervision, operate CIPP lining equipment, and work outdoors year-round in varied conditions.

Candidates should be physically fit with basic math skills and the ability to work with a team. This role requires travel with a daily per diem of $60 and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
• Good communication and ability to take direction from supervision.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in measurement/recordkeeping.

Responsabilités

• General laborer who supports sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation tasks.
• Makes routine decisions and follows supervision guidance.
• Able to work outside year-round and travel as required.
• Operates and maintains CIPP lining equipment and hand tools.
• Able to lift, push/pull, carry up to 50 lbs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• General laborer who performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks


• Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision.


• Able to work outside year-round.


• Operation and maintenance of all CIPP lining equipment


• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Basic or advanced math skills.


• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.


• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.


• Ability to work overtime and out of town, 100% travel, includes daily per diem ($60 / day).


• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
