Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced electronics test technician to join our Mount Holly Springs team.

You will test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBAs, oscillators, and related assemblies while reading schematics and ensuring compliance with engineering specs. The role emphasizes precision, documentation, and collaboration with Eng, Production, and Quality to improve reliability and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and assembly.
• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBAs, modules, oscillators, and electronic assemblies.
• Read schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Document test results, failures, troubleshooting, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Support root-cause analysis and recommend improvements to test procedures and fixtures.
