Job summary

Epitec in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Technician IV for a full-time 6-month contract onsite, working Monday through Friday. You will build and bring up RF test setups, calibrate with VNA, verify routing, support engineering, and manage lab inventory.

The role requires hands-on RF lab experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of lab safety. Preferred familiarity with Wireless SoC development and RF hardware teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in lab operations and technical support environments.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting RF test setups.
• Experience calibrating RF environments using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Experience maintaining inventory and equipment records.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical setups and support engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of laboratory safety procedures and equipment handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and bring up RF test setups using attenuators, splitters, SMA cables, and RF test equipment.
• Calibrate RF test setups using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).

• Support engineering teams with test setup modifications and troubleshooting.
• Manage lab equipment, tools, and inventory to ensure organization and availability.
• Track, label, and organize hardware boards across multiple development projects.
• Maintain inventory records using Excel or similar lab management tools.
• Coordinate equipment servicing and calibration activities.
• Support documentation needs for audits and compliance tracking.
• Maintain lab safety standards and proper equipment handling procedures.

Education
