Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to provide on‑the‑floor support, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep production flowing.
The role involves testing modules with laser sealing, vibration and burn‑in processes, handling sensitive electronics, and maintaining records while adhering to safety and ITAR/EAR requirements. Swing shift Tue–Sat, with initial training on dayshift.
In this role, you will impact manufacturing efficiency and product quality by providing hands‑on technical support, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain smooth manufacturing operations.
Process modules and end items through Environmental Screening area working with production equipment including laser sealing, vibration testing, burn‑in ovens, and acceleration testing.
Key role will be testing parts through vibration, burn‑in, laser weld, fine leak, and acceleration which requires comfort loading programs on a computer and interacting with software during this process.
Tasks will involve handling sensitive electronic modules and use of hand tools necessary to complete the tasks.
Need to be detail oriented and able to communicate when a part does not meet specifications and coordinate delivery parts to internal customers.
Maintain record logs, filling out operation sheets and loading equipment.
Must be willing to join a face paced environment
The hourly pay range for this position is $29.33 - $36.54/hr ($61,000-$76,000/yr). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
