Infant Auditory Screening Technician - Days

At NewYork-Presbyterian, Infant Auditory Screening Technicians serve as vital care providers. They act as points of contact for patients and their families, collaborating closely with the care team for infants and neonates. Under the supervision of the Neonatal Patient Care Director, you will perform newborn auditory screenings, ensuring adherence to standards set by the American Speech and Hearing Association and NYS DOH regulations.

Your duties include conducting hearing screenings using Otoacoustic Emissions and Auditory Brainstem Response equipment, documenting results in the electronic medical record, and communicating effectively with families to involve them in care decisions.

This is a full-time day shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Hours are flexible with start times, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Required Criteria
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with attention to detail

Note: All roles require on-site presence; employees should reside within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
