Job summary

ACIS, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician (HRSM) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across commercial facilities in Texas.

The role involves diagnosing complex electrical and refrigerant issues, and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery. You will work independently and with the team to deliver reliable climate control solutions in office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Texas ACR registration is required.
• Current EPA Certification.
• Current Texas TDLR Registration.
• Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment in commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot air flow, VAV systems, and building automation interfaces as needed.
• Repair and service chillers, heat pumps, and package units up to large tonnage.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate diagnostics to clients.
• Maintain safe work practices per industry standards.

Commercial HVAC Technician - (HRSM)

ACIS, Inc. is currently hiring for a COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN (HVAC TECH - HRSM).

We are a growing commercial mechanical services provider in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry with a strong client base in Texas. You will help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment on commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling facilities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment on commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling facilities. Working independently, you will also:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC systems including: Split systems (including large split systems), Built up systems, Water source heat pumps, SWUD/SCUD equipment
• Troubleshoot air flow, air distribution, building pressure, and VAV systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair VFDs in various applications.
• Trace out and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair: Air cooled scroll chillers, Air cooled and water-cooled reciprocating chillers, Air cooled and water-cooled screw chillers up to 200 tons
• Teardown semi-hermetic compressors and perform in-field repairs or determine reasons for failure.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized systems such as Liebert equipment, Aaon units, and Seasons 4 systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair package units including large tonnage units such as Intellipaks.
• Collaborate with other team members to proactively anticipate and develop solutions to client problems.
• Demonstrate professional craftsmanship and pride in your work.
• Articulate diagnostics and resolutions in communications and correspondence with clients and team.
• Work safely following industry standards.

YOUR SKILLS

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you bring the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair package units, split systems, and water source heat pumps. You also have a natural ability to read and understand wiring diagrams. Along with a professional demeanor and tactful and courteous communication with a diverse client base, we would like to see:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• License/Certification:
