Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX is seeking a Test Technician III to support manufacturing quality by inspecting, assembling and functionally testing gas delivery systems. You will perform advanced troubleshooting and helium leak testing to ensure design specifications and reliability before release.

The role requires 3–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing test environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 2nd or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelors in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Automation or equivalent work experience.
• 3-4 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Test Environment with advanced knowledge of Vacuum & Pneumatic technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and operate test fixtures.

UCT is looking for a talented Technician III to join us in Austin, TX! The Test Technician III supports manufacturing quality and performance by inspecting, assembling, and functionally testing gas delivery systems. This role performs advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions on assemblies and sub‑assemblies, conducts helium leak testing, and executes module‑level tests to verify system integrity. By accurately interpreting schematics and resolving complex technical issues, the Test Technician III ensures products meet design specifications, reliability standards, and customer requirements prior to release.

• Extensive trouble shooting and performing corrective action on failed assemblies and sub-assemblies.

• 3 - 4 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Test Environment with advanced knowledge of Vacuum & Pneumatic technologies.
