Job description

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for leading a team of four to six CNC Machine Operators in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Responsibilities include directing associates, training new production staff, and supporting them to reach daily production goals. The TC Cell Lead will execute changeovers as directed, troubleshoot technical and quality issues, perform complex machine parameter adjustments, and maintain product quality standards. Frequent mobility throughout the production area is required. A detailed understanding of CNC controls and metalworking equipment is essential, along with general computer knowledge and the ability to learn new software. The role also involves maintaining a positive, clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and be mobile for 8 to 12 hours
• Proper hand dexterity
• Ability to follow written Work Instructions, Production Orders, Product Specifications, and Technical Drawings
• Proficiency with measuring devices such as Dial Indicators, Micrometers, and Calipers
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading associates
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC Machining operation and programming experience, or an Associate's Degree in CNC Programming and Machining
• Understanding of energy sources (Electric, Pneumatic, Hydraulic) within machinery
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP software
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Skill in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Determine necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances
