Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC in Texas is hiring a diesel mechanic for our Krum shop. Typical schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime eligibility; pay is dependent on experience and quarterly branch performance bonus; weekly pay.

You will inspect, service, and repair diesel and gas engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and drive trains, with equipment maintenance in the field as needed. Candidates should have 2+ years’ experience and own tools valued around $5,000+.

Competenze

• 2+ years’ experience as diesel mechanic; construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems including Tier 4 and aftertreatment.
• Minor repairs on diesel/gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and drivetrains.
• Own tools to perform job; valued around $5,000+
• Inspect, service and test equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Routine service and lubrication; record maintenance and warranties.
• Team-player, self-starter; opportunities for growth.

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus

Location: This role will be based in our shop in Krum, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum 2+ years’ experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
• You are a self-starter and motivated to be successful. Career growth is available!
