Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a field service technician based at a branch or site location. You will inspect and maintain production equipment, evaluate performance, and respond to equipment failures to prevent downtime.

The role involves travel up to 25% and working in plant and shop environments with moderate noise. You must be able to lift heavy objects, wear safety gear as required, and communicate clearly with teammates and clients.

Job description

• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values.
• Inspects and Monitors equipment routinely to ensure compliance with operational and safety performance standards, and takes corrective action or coordinates with Engineering to resolve as needed.
• Evaluates equipment performance and reacts to equipment failures for timely resolution.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of field service equipment per defined client and organization specifications.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and engineering personnel to ensure parts and equipment are available to prevent excessive downtime when equipment failures occur.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industry related experience preferred.

• Position is based out of a branch or site location.
• Interaction with other employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel
• Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with moderate noise levels
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
• May be at more than one shop facility in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes

• Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
