The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.

What You'll Do:
  1. Work under the general direction of design and manufacturing engineers with considerable autonomy.
  2. Engage in RF R&D, primarily testing RF components such as amplifiers and switches, troubleshooting electronic circuits, and expanding into antennas and RF/microwave instrument components.
  3. Support manufacturing with mechanical and RF capabilities to build and test RF components.
  4. Perform routine duties independently, resolving standard questions and problems.
  5. Work under general daily supervision, with reviews upon task completion.
  6. Develop technical solutions for a wide range of problems and potentially supervise less-experienced staff.
  7. Collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams.
  8. Maintain a consistent work schedule.
  9. Establish and sustain positive working relationships within the department, units, and the company, fostering a productive environment.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.
On-Site Work Environment:

This role requires regular in-person work five days a week at the primary location, with possible travel between campuses and other sites.

Working Conditions:
  • Work may occur in an office, laboratory, cleanroom, or production environment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Higher degrees (Bachelor's or Master's) can substitute for two years of experience each, from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check, as operating a company vehicle is required.
  • Ability to develop diverse R&D support capabilities across multiple programs or aspects of a single program.
  • Experience with various hand and power tools.

Note: A DoD Interim Secret clearance is required to start and must be maintained. Higher clearances are not necessary but willingness to apply and maintain the required clearance is essential.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Knowledge of electrical/RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DVMs) and antenna troubleshooting.
  • Experience with machining tools (mills, routers, bandsaws, lathes) and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
  • Experience with RF and RCS range testing, sheet metal work, soldering, bonding, sealing, and PCB/PAB fabrication and assembly.
  • Familiarity with woodworking equipment and drawing interpretation.
Pay Information

Salary range: $46,680 - $74,687, based on market and individual qualifications.
