Hydro Extrusions is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to support our The Dalles, OR plant. You will perform electrical maintenance, installations, and repairs to ensure uninterrupted production.

The role requires an Oregon Licensed Limited Maintenance Electrician and at least 2 years in manufacturing, with preference for PLC/VFD experience. Join a safety‑driven team with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician license required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain Oregon electrical license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production.
• Perform PM/PDM and document with CMMS.
• Install and modify machinery and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety regs and codes.

What you will be doing

• Execute mechanical maintenance tasks promptly to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Conduct monitoring and preventative maintenance (PM/PDM) procedures to uphold equipment functionality.
• Utilize CMMS system adeptly for comprehensive documentation of repairs and associated time.
• Install new equipment and execute modifications on existing machinery proficiently.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair duties on production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems to preempt potential issues.
• Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Temperature Controllers, PLC's, HMI's, and Frequency Drives for optimal equipment performance.
• Take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Adhere to pertinent state and federal regulations, codes, and ordinances, prioritizing safety protocols and regulations

What will make you successful?

Required:

• Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician).
• 2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to obtain Oregon electrical license within 6 months.

Preferred:

• Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician orGeneral Journeyman Electrician (preferred).
• PLC experience (preferred).
• VFD experience (preferred).
• Mechanical experience (preferred)
