Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Metrology Technician II to perform scheduled and reactive calibration on production equipment at our Coralville, IA site. This on-site role reports to the Metrology Supervisor and supports calibration across multiple IDT buildings, ensuring equipment performs to specification.

You’ll learn calibration for 60+ equipment types, document actions into the CMMS per Good Documentation Practices, and collaborate with a focused team to keep our genomics

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience calibrating production equipment and applying Good Documentation Practices.

This Metrology Technician II is responsible for completing scheduled and reactive calibration on production equipment to ensure it is performing to specification.

This position reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Metrology team located in Coralville, IA and will be an onsite role.

Shift : Monday - Thursday; 1:30pm-12:00am, (Weekday Second Shift)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn calibration for over 60 types of equipment

• Support calibration at multiple buildings on the IDT campus

• Document actions performed into the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) accurately and according to Good Documentation Practices

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in a lab setting

• Attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
