Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Coralville, IA, is seeking a Technician II to perform essential manufacturing activities such as decontamination, material transfer, and equipment operation in strict SOP alignment. This on-site role reports to the Supervisor in the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a science field and at least two years of lab experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office. A bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Technician II role, you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality products by performing essential manufacturing activities - including decontamination, material transfer, and equipment operation - in strict alignment with SOPs, work instructions, and customer‑specific requirements. You will also contribute to operational excellence by leveraging daily management practices to assess process performance, identify data‑driven improvements, and recommend effective countermeasures that strengthen overall productivity and quality. This position reports to the Supervisor, is part of the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream located in Coralville and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 1:30pm-12:00am

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• An associate degree in a science related field and at least two years of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

• A bachelor’s degree
• Life Science work experience.
