You will support maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of systems and processes to keep therapies moving forward.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance, a state electrical license, and experience with CMMS tools (SAP PM, Maximo).

Qualifications

  • Valid State Electrical License (Journeyman or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience with BAS/BMS and building automation systems.
  • PLCs: Allen-Bradley, Siemens or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain electrical systems up to 480V and higher.
  • Troubleshoot industrial controls, PLCs, and automation systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Follow arc flash safety, electrical safe work practices, and LOTO.
  • Operate electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V or higher.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial controls, PLCs, and automation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of arc flash safety, electrical safe work practices, and LOTO procedures.
  • Proficient with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, insulation testers, and voltage detectors.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Essential Requirements:
  • Valid State Electrical License (Journeyman or equivalent).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, utility, or facility maintenance experience.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
  • NFPA 70E, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Experience with CMMS software such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar systems.
Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $37.02 and $68.75 per hourly. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.

Salary Range $77,000.00 - $143,000.00
