The CDI Technician II is responsible for performing semiconductor component processing, inspection, documentation, and material handling activities in support of 2nd shift production and customer delivery requirements. This role manages work orders, verifies inventory and part traceability, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards. By accurately following work instructions, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement efforts, the technician contributes to operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery of customer-ready products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform CDI processing activities following approved work instructions, process specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for workmanship, cleanliness, damage, and conformance to specifications.
  • Complete required production, quality, and inventory transactions accurately within company systems.
  • Verify part counts, lot traceability, and documentation accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies, damaged parts, missing materials, or process deviations to supervision.
  • Handle customer-owned semiconductor components with care to prevent contamination or damage.
  • Support incoming, in-process, and final verification activities as required.
  • Maintain organized work areas and adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with material movement and work order prioritization to support production schedules.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and understand production documentation and work orders.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to safely handle delicate customer components and materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Educational/Certification Requirement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirement
  • Six months to two years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, inspection, assembly, technical, military, or related experience preferred.
  • Semiconductor, cleanroom, contamination-control, quality inspection, or materials handling experience is a plus but not required.
  • Candidates with strong transferable skills from production, logistics, warehousing, automotive, aerospace, military, or other technical environments are encouraged to apply.
