Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Raleigh, NC, part of Danaher’s family, is seeking a Lab Technician to perform manufacturing tasks transforming raw materials into final products and supporting instrument operation in a controlled lab environment.

The role requires 12 months of lab experience, a life sciences background, and solid computer skills (Excel and Word). The position is on-site, with a Monday–Friday shift, and offers a competitive benefits package and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Life Science lab experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
• Operate lab instruments and follow work instructions and SOPs.
• Adhere to customer-specific and general work instructions and SOPs.
• Support daily management with data-driven problem solving and countermeasure suggestions.

Shift: Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including: decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
• Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
• Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED
• Life Science work experience
• 12 months of lab experience
• Excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
