Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Technician I to join our field service team. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to keep our fleet in top condition and minimize downtime across a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a safety-focused crew, gain exposure to a variety of equipment types, and develop skills for a career path in service or operations management. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work safely to service a variety of makes, models & equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems to troubleshoot effectively.
