Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a broad range of equipment in a safety-first environment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime through careful servicing and diagnostics.

You will work with a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems and generators, developing new skills for a career path in service or operations management. 1–3 years of technician experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work with a varied fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and generators.
• Assist in keeping equipment in top operating condition and support service team as needed.
