Job summary

Flagstone Foods is seeking a Sanitation Tech I (3rd shift) in Robersonville, NC to support our sanitation and food safety program. You will focus on cleaning and sanitizing plant equipment and facilities in compliance with FDA and OSHA regulations.

The role requires basic cleaning knowledge, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the capacity to follow SSOPs and safety policies. Benefits include medical, dental, HSA, 401(k) with company match, and company-paid life

Qualifications

  • 1-year minimum working with production equipment or 1 year working in a food plant as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machine.
  • Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps.
  • Basic knowledge of top-down washing sequence for proper food safety.
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage.
  • Basic knowledge of lockout/tagout programs.
  • Ability to learn how to clean all plant lines.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic wash area duties including running a pan washer and cleaning utensils by hand.
  • Disassemble/setup for cleaning of equipment as needed.
  • Complete cleaning tasks per SSOPs.
  • Identify equipment needing deep cleaning and address it.
  • Use chemicals safely and effectively for cleaning tasks.
  • Report safety, food safety, and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety and food safety training and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
