• Able to spend 8 hours on concrete floors with mobility.

• Experience running PIT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Facilities work orders/PMs.
• Run and maintain a floor scrubber.
• Perform maintenance functions, light electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Perform light electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Use and maintain assigned power tools and hand tools.
• Climb ladders as required for tasks.
• Follow safety instructions for chemicals and supplies.
• Perform external cleaning and related tasks (snow/debris).
• Assist with custodial duties as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Technician assists Maintenance Technicians with light electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs and assists with PM/repairs to conveyor systems and other power equipment. Additionally, this role will assist with custodial duties as necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You will assist with Facilities work orders/PMs.
• You will run and maintain a floor scrubber.
• You will assist with maintenance functions, such as PM/repairs to conveyor systems and other power equipment.
• You will be performing light electrical repairs, plumbing, and carpentry.
• You will use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools.
• You will use ladders when required in work assignments.
• You will follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• You will perform external cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
• You will assist with Custodial duties as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

• Required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required to have at least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Required to have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Required to have computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook).
• Required to be detail oriented.
• Required to work independently and stay on task with limited supervision.
• Required to meet strict deadlines on a regular basis.
• Required to multi-task and be able to demonstrate flexibility in a fast‑paced environment.
• Required to be able to consistently climb, crouch, stand, and walk on a concrete floor for an 8‑hour day.
• Required to be able to work at heights (40 ft and below).
• Required to run PIT equipment.
