AltaMed is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall patching. The role requires driving a company van to different sites to complete maintenance projects and to ensure the upkeep of building structures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of related maintenance experience, and a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician I performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, and patching drywall. The Technician drives a company van to various sites to perform maintenance tasks and is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of building structures as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in the use of appropriate maintenance equipment.
• Occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• A valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, required. Must be eligible to safely operate company vehicles, with no major moving violations within the past (3) years and no more than one (1) point on current DMV record.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
