Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks, moving materials between warehouse zones and production lines. You will record movements with RF scanners or tags and help ensure inventory accuracy.

Candidates must pass a written and physical test, have forklift and pallet jack certification, and work safely in a production environment. The role involves lifting up to 110 pounds and wearing PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Certification in forklift and motorized pallet jack required.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods between warehouse, freezer, cooler, and production lines.
• Record all movements accurately using issue/return tags or RF scanning.
• Notify supervisors about shortages of materials and contribute to inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, organized work area and adhere to PPE and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position SummaryEmployee will use a forklift, powered pallet jack, or pallet jack. Employee will move and accurately record the movement of raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods, and other items to and from the warehouse, freezer, cooler and production lines at both production facilities. This position reports to the warehouse lead.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork directly with the production line post tomorrowMove raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods, and other items to and from the warehouse, freezer, and coolerAccurately record all movement of materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods using issue and return tags or RF scanning equipmentAccurately complete all required paperworkReport shortages of needed raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to the appropriate supervisorsRemove line wasteGeneral Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain a neat and organized work areaWork with enthusiasm and sense of urgency dailyWear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as requiredAdhere to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practicesPerform other duties as required or assignedEducation, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge:Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Physical environment/working condition:The employee is regularly required to sit; walk; use hands, fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme cold; wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places.
