Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an entry-level Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment at on-site locations. The role focuses on safe, efficient service and hands-on learning across makes and models in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience. Bilingual abilities may be required based on location, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school helpful.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Safely operate and works to minimize downtime.
