Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, from Aerial Work Platforms to pumps, in a safety-focused environment at our North America locations.

This entry-level role includes on-the-job training, growth opportunities into service or operations management, and a comprehensive benefits package; high school diploma or GED required, 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• May need to provide tools of trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work with a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC and related equipment.
• Maintain safety-focused work practices and adapt to changing priorities.
