Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Advanced Setup Technician I for a 12-hour night shift to manage order changes on hard capsule machines (HCM) and related equipment, ensuring timely return to production. The role requires on-site work and basic math for changes.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, willingness to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with SCADA/SharePoint; color vision testing is part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with accommodations available.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass color vision test (score 100 or below).
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• On-site presence at the plant is required.
• Experience with SCADA systems and SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate order changes and dish washing for HCM, Unisor, and Unified equipment.
• Ensure order quantities are met before initiating changes using basic math.
• Break down, clean, and adjust HCMs to ensure proper equipment function.
• Inspect equipment for foreign capsules and conduct quality checks.
• Set up and troubleshoot iBox and perform formula changes at HCM.
• Enter order changes and setups in SCADA and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to return machines to production.
