Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a mechanically inclined technician to perform routine repairs on construction equipment. The role requires following manuals, using power tools, and working with hoists and cranes to move parts for service and repair.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and up to two years of related schooling or work experience. Physical requirements include lifting up to 112 pounds and operating diagnostic tools.
The primary function of this position is to perform routine mechanical repairs on construction equipment
Must have a high school education or GED.
Requires up to two years of schooling or direct work experience; Must be mechanically inclined and have good basic knowledge obtained through schooling or work experience.
Must be able to repeatedly stoop, kneel, bend and climb onto and underneath various equipment to perform diagnosis and repairs; Must be able to effectively see to perform repairs, research technical manuals, and develop written repair work order reports. Must be able to routinely and physically lift or position various parts to perform repairs/service and manually handle parts up to 112 pounds, as well as use mechanical hoist for heavier parts.
