Job summary

ExperiGreen in Charlotte, NC is seeking an entry-level Technician I to perform core aeration and overseeding on residential and commercial lawns. You will operate aeration equipment, load and transport gear, and assist with lawn prep while delivering quality service. No prior experience required and training is provided.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. This on-site role emphasizes safety, customer communication, and reliable schedule adherence in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required.
• Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical application is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform core aeration or aeration and overseeding services on residential and commercial lawns as assigned.
• Safely operate and maintain aerators, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Assist in preparing lawns for services, including clearing debris and identifying obstacles.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed and answer basic questions.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment usage, and site conditions.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Support team members as needed to ensure efficient completion of daily schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs for each property serviced, including products used and observations of lawn conditions.
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
