Job summary

Cassell Brothers, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will combine technical skill with customer service, ensuring work aligns with codes and manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and documenting service; on-call rotations; and upholding safety and professional standards on every job.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC service experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Recommend repairs, upgrades, or system replacements and explain options to customers clearly.
  • Ensure work complies with manufacturer specs, building codes, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and parts usage logs.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure timely service.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and professional appearance.

Role Overview

Technician HVAC Service (2025-1157)

We are seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with excellent customer service and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service (required).
  • EPA Universal Certification (required).
  • HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
