Job summary

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air, part of TurnPoint Services, seeks an HVAC Install Technician for residential and light commercial projects in Charleston area. The role emphasizes quality workmanship, safety, and delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HVAC installation, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read blueprints. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure codes and standards are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork to specification.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Work with Install Leads and Supervisors to complete jobs safely and on time.
• Communicate with homeowners about system operation and maintenance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Role Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.

What You Bring
