Overhead Door Company of Portland Maine is seeking a motivated apprentice-helper technician to join our commercial installation and service team. You will work on a two-person crew installing and servicing overhead doors, coiling doors, fire doors, and other specialty equipment.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical background, basic welding/knowledge is a plus, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Door industry or job-site construction experience.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Power tool skills.

• Driver's license is required.

Mansioni

• Assist two-person crew installing and servicing overhead doors and related systems.

Overhead Door Company of Portland Maine is looking for a motivated individual to join our commercial installation / service team as an apprentice-helper technician. You will work on a two man crew installing & servicing overhead doors, coiling doors, fire doors, industrial doors, specialty doors, automatic door equipment, loading dock equipment, operable wall partitions. Door industry or Job site construction experience, a strong mechanical background, power tool skills, technical education, welding/ knowledge skills are a plus. Job requires good communication skills both verbal & written, along with the ability to work independently & as part of a team. You will work at various heights from ladders and different types of platform lift equipment.
