Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking an IT Technician to support the Technology Services team in Las Vegas, NV. This in-person, full-time role focuses on maintaining computing infrastructure, networks, devices, and help desk functions across show sites and offices.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of IT experience, troubleshooting Windows 11, MS Office, MacOS, and iOS, with strong communication and the ability to travel locally up to 25% to resolve issues on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience required.
• Minimum four years of IT Technician experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows 11, MS Office Suite, MacOS and iOS.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install new equipment and systems.
• Maintain equipment for showsite and offsite locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system issues.
• Restore files when necessary.
• Provide training solutions and system documentation.
• Provide basic systems orientation to new staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair LAN hardware and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, perform repair and preventive maintenance.
• Research, evaluate, develop, and implement IT solutions for user inquiries.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on new IT initiatives.

Summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Technician to prepare regular work assignments related to the strategy of the department or work team. As an IT Technician, you will operate in a highly autonomous role, so good communication is key. Maintain the technical computing infrastructure within the business. Responsible for the wellbeing of the Business Unit computing infrastructure including networks, computers, operating systems, data storage, security and "help desk" related functions.

This position will support our Technology Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show site based out of Las Vegas, NV.

• Set up and/or install new equipment and systems
• Maintain and setup equipment that is utilized for showsite and offsite locations
• Troubleshoot and/or repair equipment and system issues
• Restore files when necessary
• Provide training solutions such as documentation of systems and procedures
• Provide basic systems orientation to new staff
• Troubleshoot and repair network issues such as LAN hardware and connectivity
• Troubleshoot hardware, perform repair and preventive maintenance
• Research, evaluate, develop, and implement solutions for users in response to inquiries or demonstrated needs
• Work with Project Managers on any new IT initiatives

Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
• Minimum four(4) years of IT Technician Experience
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows 11,MS Office Suite, MacOS, and iOS
• Proven to have worked with limited supervision will be essential as you deal with demanding users in a challenging fast- paced work environment
• Ability to travel to local sites withinyour area will be required to resolve problems that cannot be solved remotely
