The Technician performs preventive maintenance, manages refrigerant handling, and supports operational efficiency through effective communication and teamwork. This position requires adherence to company policies and standards while contributing to continuous improvement and supporting business‑critical needs, including participation in on‑call rotations and coordination of service activities across multiple locations.
The Facility Services team ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across Walmart locations. They install, inspect, and repair equipment while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The team implements preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborating with management and partners, they coordinate service calls and support critical business needs. Using specialized tools and following established protocols, team members maintain system performance to foster a safe and productive environment that supports Walmart’s operational goals and enhances overall customer satisfaction.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00–$58.00*. *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
