Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service its facilities in Colorado. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment repairs, with tasks including inspections, testing, and safety-compliant maintenance.

The successful candidate will use hand and power tools, operate a work order system, and respond to emergencies under the guidance of the General Maintenance Manager. A valid driver’s license and vocational certification are preferred.

Qualifications

18 years or older.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
Comfortable working at heights frequently.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in various temperatures.
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area; or 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, or OUI within the last five years
Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
Preferred: completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program
Preferred: experience using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred: related trade license in the city and/or state where the job is located
Preferred: experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Preferred: experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
Use hand tools, power tools to complete maintenance jobs.
Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
