Position Summary

The Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, functional, and sustainable facility environments. This role involves coordinating work assignments, overseeing material procurement, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires troubleshooting, quality assurance, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers to maintain operational standards. The Technician supports cost control efforts, performs seasonal maintenance, and operates specialized equipment while upholding company policies and ethical standards to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

The Facility Services Exterior Services team ensures Walmart locations remain safe, clean, and well-maintained through seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice control, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. This team manages repairs, coordinates third-party providers, and implements cost-effective solutions while adhering to safety and environmental standards. Focused on operational excellence and compliance with company policies, the team supports continuous improvement and professional development. • Proven experience in facility maintenance, including exterior services and seasonal upkeep.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
