Job summary

Exact Dispensing, part of TASI Measurement, seeks a Fabrication/Assembly Technician to weld, fabricate, and assemble components. The role involves reading engineering drawings, performing TIG/MIG welding on steel and aluminum, and assembling parts per production documentation.

The ideal candidate will have high school education, experience in mechanical assembly, and proficiency with hand tools. Occasional pipe fitting and valve installation are included in duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or Trade school preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication.
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding (steel and aluminum).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
• Experience with calibration or testing of mechanical systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills, ability to follow digital work instructions, and knowledge of multimeters.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fabrication/Assembly Technician to join our team at Exact Dispensing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Welding, fabrication, machine assembly, and other similar tasks as directed. Pay range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems according to engineering drawings and production documentation. (50%)
• Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminum components. (25%)
• Fabricate parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. (25%)
• Conduct pipe fitting and valve installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of returned products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
