Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Level 2 Technician for Electronic & Instrumentation maintenance to support critical systems and minimize downtime. You will read manuals, calibrate field instrumentation, and troubleshoot PLCs, DCS, motors, and switchgear in a demanding manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2+ years in instrumentation and electrical maintenance, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and electrical components and systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in I&E troubleshooting.

  • Experienced technician.
  • Performs assignments of an advanced nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
  • Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation
  • Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation
  • Excellent electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of PLC's
  • Properly use high voltage test equipment
  • Re-fuse high voltage lines
  • Remove and repair switchgear
  • Properly size and install wire and conduit
  • Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues
  • Working knowledge of process control fundamentals
  • Know PID tuning fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of DCS systems
  • Working knowledge of motors and motor controls
  • Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photocells
