The role ensures the reliability and safety of our facility's electrical infrastructure, involving preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and precise wiring to support manufacturing needs. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, work with PLCs and HVAC systems, and coordinate with maintenance and operations to optimize equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, transformers, circuit breakers, and network switches.
• General knowledge of PLCs and HVAC infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment and systems to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot circuits, machinery, transformers, breakers, and switches.
• Perform precise wiring, blueprint interpretation, and installation per electrical codes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and HVAC units.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely during repairs and maintenance.
• Program, monitor, and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure production operations.
• Keep logs of maintenance activities, modifications, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to improve reliability.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders during repairs.

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician - Electrical to join our dynamic operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our facility's electrical infrastructure, machinery, and control systems. The ideal candidate brings a meticulous eye for detail and a strong background in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and executing precise electrical wiring. Working closely with our maintenance and operations departments, the Technician - Electrical is expected to maintain high operational standards while delivering exceptional customer service to internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain various electrical equipment, electrical systems, and electronic components to prevent unexpected downtime.
• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and problem-solving on electrical circuits, machinery, transformers, circuit breakers, and network switches.
• Execute precise electrical wiring, blueprinting interpretation, and installation tasks in compliance with all relevant electrical codes.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, HVAC units, and associated control systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tool operation techniques safely and effectively during repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Program, monitor, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, system modifications, and equipment performance metrics.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional operations teams to optimize equipment efficiency and improve system reliability.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills when coordinating repairs and providing customer service to internal department stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, electrical equipment, and electronic components.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes, transformers, circuit breakers, and network switches.
• General knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HVAC infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprinting documentation.
• Valid Driver's License is required for travel between company sites.
• Demonstrated physical capability for lifting ability associated with heavy industrial equipment maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, industrial, or facility operations environment.
• Proven track record of successful problem-solving and troubleshooting complex machinery and control systems.
• Strong organizational skills with a reputation for being detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Prior experience utilizing hand tools and power tool operation in heavy commercial settings.
