Job summary

ProAmpac in Cincinnati, OH is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our 12-hour day shift (8am–8pm) on a rotating schedule at our facility. The role requires hands-on maintenance or electrical experience in a manufacturing setting and reading electrical drawings to troubleshoot equipment.

Typical pay is $28–$36 per hour, with overtime as needed, and benefits including paid holidays, vacation, personal days, and a quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot equipment from diagrams and manuals
• Knowledge of Ohm's law and electrical theory
• Experience with 480 VAC systems and safety requirements
• Ability to stand and perform manually intensive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use hand tools safely

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and manuals
• Read electrical drawings and size wires for amperage and voltage
• Build small and large control panels
• Install conduits, cable wire and pull wires
• Program timers, heat controllers and VFDs
• Work overtime as needed and maintain safe operation

We are growing and have openings within our Maintenance department at ourCincinnati, OHfacility.

Hours: 12hr Days / 8am - 8pm / Rotating Schedule

Salary: $28hr - $36hr (pending experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must have industrial experience with 2 to 5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of three-phase 480 VAC and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and to troubleshoot equipment problems using diagrams and manuals.
• Ability to perform general math accurately and consistently.
• Ability to stand constantly, excellent hand-eye coordination skills, strong mechanical skills and the ability to lift and load weights up to 50 pound
• Must understand Ohm’s law and how to use.
• Must be able to read electrical systematics.
• Must be able to program, timers, heat controllers and VFD’s.
• Must be able to build small and large control panels.
• Must be able to identify all the different electrical parts.
• Must be able to install conduits, cable wire and pull wire and know which to use.
• How to size wire for correct amperage and voltage.
