Job summary

Inspira Health in Mullica Hill, NJ seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician to prepare patients and perform non-invasive EEGs, sleep-deprived studies, and related tests to aid diagnosis.

You will edit and prepare tests, report findings to reading physicians, maintain equipment, and provide strong customer service and computer skills; EKGs may be performed as needed. Requires ABRET certification or registry eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic program or three years’ neurodiagnostic experience.
• Successful completion of ABRET exam; registry preferred.
• Board Registry Required; National Certification preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform non-invasive EEG testing.
• Edit and prepare tests; report findings to reading physicians.
• Maintain and clean equipment; provide excellent customer service and computer support.
• Perform EKGs as needed.

Job description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Prepares patients and performs non-invasive electroencephalograms (EEG), sleep deprived studies and other tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Edits and prepares tests, Reports findings and concerns to reading physicians. Cleans and maintains all equipment. Demonstrates excellent customer service, telephone, and computer skills. Performs EKGs or other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic program or three years’ experience in the neurodiagnostic field.
• Successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists
• Board Registry Required
• National Certification in area of specialty, preferred
• Hospital experience preferred.

Certification/ Licensure:

• ABRET Registered or Registry Eligible required.
• BLS required.
