Job summary

Apotex Corp. in Indianapolis is seeking a warehouse associate to perform material movement duties including receiving, picking, packing and shipping of finished goods.

You will operate equipment, verify lot numbers, and ensure shipments are accurately processed in SAP. The role requires English fluency, ability to lift 50lbs, willingness to work varied shifts, and familiarity with warehouse safety and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations.
  • Willing to work various shifts and/or overtime when needed.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to pick orders and re-stock, ensuring product, lot numbers and quantities are correct and SAP is updated.
  • Pack shipments using SAP, verifying correct product, lot numbers and quantities; wrapping, labeling and weighing skids; and checking to ensure that the proper order and shipping labels are attached.
  • Ship orders using a computerized freight management system.
  • Move materials to best utilize warehouse space.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner while remaining compliant with all appropriate equipment trainings.
  • Physically receive materials and verify the accuracy of shipments by checking for overages, shortages and damaged goods
  • Notify Inventory Analyst of any inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with GMPs, SODs, and SWPs; read and understand training documents before signing records
  • Adhere to FDA regulations and other regulatory agencies
  • Maintain commitment to corporate mission and initiatives
  • Participate in internal/external audits/inspections/assessments as necessary
  • Work as part of a team to achieve outcomes

  • All other relevant duties as assigned

Job Summary

Responsible for performing material movement duties in the warehouse including: Physical receiving, picking, packing and shipping of finished goods.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain commitment to corporate mission statement and initiatives
  • Participate in any internal/external audits/inspections/assessments, as necessary
  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes

  • Experience
    • Minimum of three years’ experience in a logistics environment preferred (pharmaceutical experience an asset)
